The Product Launch We Built Like a TV Show

IZEA had a lot riding on one moment. We were relaunching our product lineup, opening a new creator marketplace, and putting our executive team in front of the industry to explain it all. Most companies would have handled that with a press release and a blog post. We decided to produce a broadcast.

I produced the launch. That meant bringing together designers, executives, production partners, and our marketing team to create one moment that introduced everything at once.

We called it Superchanged. We shot on a sound stage in Tampa against a giant LED wall, giving our executives virtual environments instead of a static backdrop. We built custom virtual sets, scripted and rehearsed the show, hired the crew, and managed everything from the production pipeline to makeup, travel, and hotel rooms.

Then we layered in creator interviews, filmed in homes across the country to give audiences an early look at the new platform. We cut it all together, promoted it like a live event, and streamed it to the industry.
